Time to announce a winner! Our polls are closed, the popular vote has been tabulated, and the people’s choice in our My Sweet Room Contest rings loud and clear! Drum roll, please ….
Congratulations to home decorator extraordinaire, Christy Snook, who decorated her daughter Delaney’s room to perfection with a happy combination of our wallsticker kits.
Christy ran away with the large majority of votes in our Contest, but we still must congratulate all the entrants, who each demonstrated marvelous creativity in his/her own unique way. And extra congratulations to Rick Joens and Karen O’Campo, who both received special mention.
Allison Krongard, President of WallCandy Arts, remarked about Christy’s entry: “Delaney’s room is bursting with fun and intrigue. I love how Christy combined Candy Factory with the Seasons designs. I would have never thought of it but it looks fantastic. I really appreciate all the entries;it’s such a joy to see what people do with the product.”
To reward her excellent work, Christy will receive her choice of WallCandy wall sticker kits.

WallCandy Arts® My Sweet Room Contest
We’re quite proud of the entries to our Contest, and it’s likely that you’ll enjoy looking at them too! They just prove that WallCandy is limited only by the imagination.
So the thumbnails are below, and you can click on each to see a larger image. Then select your ONE favorite, and leave a comment telling us which one you like best and why you like it.
After a couple of weeks, we’ll tally up your votes and present the winner. If you feel strongly about your choice, get a bunch of friends to stop by and vote as well. Remember, a vote that says a name with no comment on why you made the selection won’t count.

Time to rev up our My Sweet Room Contest again, so this post is devoted to reminding you how creative you really are, no matter what you think.
Here’s Heidi’s room, the winner of our last Contest
You take a kit of WallCandy stickers in hand, for example,and read how easy they are to apply. You look at that lonely, unadorned corner of the room that’s never used or appreciated. You are suddenly inspired.
Voilà! Your creativity is revealed all in a flash.In the place of old nail holes and cobwebs, you envision a peaceful outdoor scene, a study nook with desk and chalkboards, or a sea of bubbles drifting by an armchair with a footstool. If you’re a Mom, maybe you suddenly realize what a great play area it could be, especially with some dinosaurs or letters on the wall, and that bean bag chair the kids like so much.
You can’t fool us! We know you’re imaginative in the extreme!
So after you’ve spent a few enchanting hours mounting WallCandy stickers somewhere, why not snap a quick photo of your brilliant work and send it on in? That’s all it takes to get in the running for free WallCandy prizes.
Now, here are the details. Right here on this blog, we’re going to post all the entry photos, and ask our readers to comment, saying which room they think is the best. Yes, we plan to personally read every single comment, and tally up the votes that way. So you’ll have a better chance of winning if you encourage friends to stop on by here!
Oh yes, that blog post with all the entry photos is scheduled for October 19th.Winners will be announced after we’ve collected comments for a couple of weeks.

It’s official! We’re accepting new entries for our WallCandy Room Contest
The current contest winner will be chosen February 16 by public vote. If you haven’t yet voted for your favorite room then head on over and cast your vote!
The next quarterly contest begins on February 17 and runs until May 17. So, now’s your chance to get decorating and submit a photo of your WallCandy decorated room. The winner gets their choice of a free WallCandy kit.
